Not The Same Backwards

Wow, I’m really captivated by Michael Wolf's photography of people packed into Tokyo's subway. There's an overwhelming sadness to these people who are alone within a crowd - a crowd that so impinges on personal space. Makes my own misery with peak hour seem insignificant. I think this series also appeals to me because similarly to my own project, People I’ve Slept With, he captures his subjects at a very candid moment.
